Terms and Conditions (T&C) for the Panorama Konstanz Visitor Service

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services offered by Panorama Konstanz, in particular to visits to the exhibition, group bookings, guided tours, and other events.

They form the basis of the contractual relationship between Panorama Konstanz GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter “Panorama Konstanz”) and the recipient of the services (visitor, event promoter, or organizer of a visitor group).

2. Contract Formation and Registration

By registering or making a reservation, the service recipient accepts these General Terms and Conditions.

For services requiring registration, the contract is concluded upon receipt of the written booking confirmation from Panorama Konstanz.

Registrations are generally processed in the order in which they are received. If a registration cannot be accepted, Panorama Konstanz will notify the service recipient immediately.

For events with age restrictions, the specified participation requirements apply.

3. Payment Terms

The prices quoted for guided tours are subject to the reduced sales tax rate, currently 7 percent (pursuant to § 12(2)(7)(a) of the German Sales Tax Act (UStG)). In exceptional cases, invoicing is possible for businesses upon prior written confirmation. (Payment due within 14 days)

If a group rate is agreed upon for a guided tour, that rate remains in full effect even if the number of participants is subsequently reduced. The number of admission tickets will be adjusted accordingly.

4. Services, Changes to Services, and Cancellations

The scope of the contractual services is set forth in the service description included in the reservation or confirmation from Panorama Konstanz. Any supplementary agreements must be confirmed in writing by Panorama Konstanz.

Group reservations and guided tours may be canceled free of charge no later than four business days before the agreed-upon date and must be submitted in writing to info@panorama-konstanz.de to be paid.

In the event of a cancellation after the cancellation period has expired, a cancellation fee equal to the full amount of the agreed-upon fee (applies to guided tours and food and beverage services) must be paid.

The same applies in the event of a no-show at the start of the event.

The date and time of receipt of the cancellation by Panorama Konstanz shall determine whether the deadline has been met. The burden of proof for the timely receipt of the cancellation rests with the service recipient.

For booked guided tours, the tour guide will wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the agreed-upon start time in the event of a delay.

This is contingent upon prior notification by phone at +49 7531/911262-0.

Once the waiting period has expired, there is no entitlement to the tour. The agreed-upon fee remains due in full.

In the event of a shorter delay, the tour will be shortened accordingly.

Panorama Konstanz assumes no liability for event cancellations due to force majeure or official orders.

5. House Rules

Visitors are subject to the currently valid terms of use and house rules of Panorama Konstanz.

By entering the building, visitors agree to abide by the house rules and all instructions given by staff.

6. Liability

Panorama Konstanz is liable only in cases of willful misconduct and gross negligence.

This does not affect statutory liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health, nor does it apply in cases where mandatory statutory liability provisions apply.

In such cases, Panorama Konstanz is liable regardless of the degree of fault.

7. Set-off and Rights of Retention

Setoff against claims by Panorama Konstanz is permitted only with respect to undisputed claims or claims that have been legally established.

8. Withdrawal by the Organizer

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, Panorama Konstanz is entitled to terminate the contract at any time by written notice.

9. Data Protection

Panorama Konstanz processes personal data exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

Personal data is collected only to the extent necessary for processing reservations, inquiries, or providing the agreed-upon services. The data is treated confidentially and used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the contract.

Personal data is disclosed to third parties only if this is necessary to fulfill the contract or is required by law. The data is used for advertising purposes only with the appropriate consent or based on legal provisions.

Data subjects have, in accordance with statutory provisions, the right to access the stored personal data, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing.

The contractual relationship is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of performance is the location where the respective service is provided.

10. Governing Law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively.

11. Severability Clause

Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

13. Final Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions will take effect on August 1, 2026.

They remain in effect until they are amended or revised by Panorama Konstanz.
